I devoted myself to mastering SF ALPHA 3 MAX. I would not mind getting that good at KOF 2002 Unlimited match either but it probably will not happen. lol.

My friend told me about this. Truly a pity! Ramis seemed pretty "modest". Despite having a hand in so many different comedies he never seemed to flaunt it much. It's difficult to even find interviews with Harold,at least when compared to other directors/celebrities.
Head shotts are probably okay when taking out a sniper or someone with a hostage. But it's nice the game encourages non-lethal take-downs,Blake. For a shooter that is an original concept.
You are allowed to have your opinion,Chris. Though your "dislike" seems to border on seething hatred. Sure, it's "generic" gameplay wise. We're getting another 3rd person shooter with Lost Planet 3. But truthfully that's even how I felt about Bioshock. Don't get me wrong. It had a good story and decent characters. Rapture was quite the underwate dystopian marvel. But it was a shooter. Pew pewing with a few "super powers" strewn about. On one hand you could argue Bioshock is redeemable but if you ignore the plot and ignore the "philosophical symbolism" it's no better than a lot of the other drek out there.
I don't see how Lost Planet 3 is different from that mold. Yes it is mediocre but if you're going to take a hard stance against it you kind of have to take a hard stance against many of the other games that are similar to it that none the less got ridiculous praise and high scores.
Personally, I'm kind of burnt out on shooters too. But I tend to be able to forgive them somewhat if they can give me an okay story and characters I can bond with. I also try not to have ridiculous expectations. If a smaller studio with less money puts out a product I'll make a note of that in the back of my mind. Spark unlimited is kind of "low tier" so I'm willing to give them a chance without expecting a perfect home-run from them.
Comparatively I'm sure my own game would have been a lot better with a devoted team and some actual money to throw around. It's sad but true. Man-power and finances really help improve a game and sometimes even "experience in the field" is not enough without those other two benefits coming into play.
But if I hate LP3 and I think it sucks I'll warn people against it! Afterall, I don't want to mislead anyone. (Though really I just have opinions. Those should never be taken as facts. One man's garbage is another man's treasure!")
I think I know the game you are talking about but I will not say anything here,Cary. lol. The mini game during the load times in Onechanbara was actually fun too!
So, in SWAT head-shots are bad??! Mind...cannot...process....data.....(shuts down)
Hmmm, six songs that define my youth? Kind of difficult. Still, I'll try.
Bittersweet symphony=The song really expressed how I felt as a teenager. I think I was in a flux between wanting to change yet feeling too set in my ways and it had dawned on me life is not all rainbows and unicorns.
NIN: Hurt= Johnny Cash did a really good version of this song too. Conveys you are going nowhere with your life and the line of "I hurt myself today...just to see if I could feel" totally resonated with me.
Korn: Falling away from me=Jonathan Davis is known as being bipolar so I'm not surprised I was on the same wave length as this song. Just goes to show you I had to get my head out of my ass!
Greenday(Or smashing pumpkins???): Don't know the song but it goes "All I can say is my life is very plain, when I read a book it's a great escape!" I was isolated on a mountain so books really were my only means of leaving my prison of isolation.
Soundgarden: Black hole sun=The song was weird and the music video was weirder. I had seen too many fucked up things as a kid so this song embodied that.
Live, Lakini's Juice=Pretty awesome electric guitar shredding happens in this one. For some reson the lyrics got to me as well.
Yeah,my adult life is "happier". lol.
So, you fought "him"? You were pretty close to finishing the whole game,Peter. Honestly, that fight was a bit frustrating for me too but I kept at it until I nailed the bastard on the third try!
I think Halo sets a better precedent. You're not really murdering other humans but rather "aliens" with a rather warped spiritual idealogy. That and "The Flood" are complete monsters.
Ironically I'd have more problems with a future child of mine playing COD than Halo. COD sort of focuses on "real conflicts" and could subconciously teach a child to be racist or nationalist. (In other words they may begin thinking all Muslims are bad or all Russians are bad) Halo on the other hand is rather "safe" in that regard.
I don't mean to diss COD and I know "sane gamers" can keep level heads. I'm just saying with COD there's a certain kind of "America, fuck yeah!" extremism driving everything whereas with Halo all of humanity is forced to unite against a greater threat ala Independence Day.
Be good to wear as a gag,Aaron. lol. Or you could just lie and say "I liked the elf chick but I've never played a Zelda game!"
