I just put the first Pokemon games Red and Blue on my list. I'll probably get them on 3DS virutal console and give them a try finally.

Cool! I can't wait.
Yea, the bonfires. I forgot if they were in Demon's Souls or not. That makes Demon's Souls even more frustrating for me. But, at the same time, I want to go back and play it again. I heard you can just run around enemies in a lot of areas. I never tried that. Maybe I'll get farther next time.
I'd love a cross between Pokemon and Monster Hunter.
No, I haven't. Cool, a Toys for Bob game. It's going on the list. Thanks.
You'd think game saves would be transfered as well as the games. Weird.
I liked the structure of the plot. It was well organized. Luigi goes on various job interviews, does some jobs, fails, and Mario is sitting at home laughing at him. I liked that.
I'm playing Persona 4 Golden right now and loving it. Turn-based RPGs or SRPGs are my jam on handhelds.
The Vita has really good sound. I also love how it's tied directly to your PS account. Trophies pop up just like on PS4 and you can get to the PS store right away. I always feel like I'm connected to PSN unlike 3DS which makes me sign in to go to the store. I like the big screen too which looks amazing. - at least the OLED version I got does. It has the best handheld screen. Also, having a touch screen is really handy for getting through menus. I'm less interested in it for gameplay.
I played some online co-op with daftman a while back and it worked as seemlessly as a console. I was really thrilled with that because it was a little bit unreliable with PSP.
It fits great in the hand with it's rounded edges too. It could have more games, yes, but I've got some really good ones to play right now.
Losing progress is the big one for me quitting a game. In Demon's Souls, I'd get as far as I could get before a mistake would get me killed and i'd be sent all the way back to the start. Now, maybe there was a save spot somewhere just beyond where I got, but I did a lot of battling and level progression before being ignominiously returned to the beginning to do it all again with enemies in exactly the same place as before. Repetition and threat of losing all progress gets me physically depressed after a while. And I love that game so much for its atmosphere and enemy designs. Grrr!
I was shocked they were being sold new for $14. I expected a used one for like $5. I think it might be better to get one online. I'm just glad I found my old one. I don't think I need two of them yet.
