Davy Jones and Skylanders

Posted on 03/19/2016 at 04:20 PM | Filed Under Blogs

Yea, Incredibles was the most with 5 figures. I only have Syndrome and Mark has Mr. Incredible. I was really tempted to get them all. I've started to go to yard sales now, so if I see a bunch of D.I. figures for cheap, I'll get them.

I have a lot of figures now, but not all of them. I'm thinking of getting Jack Skellington, but with this $10 figure sale going on a GS right now, I think I'll get some new 3.0 characters. Tomorrow I'm going to try and get Hulkbuster and Darth Maul.

Episode 82: Fighting Street

This is about the bonus episode I just listened to. You talked about Castlevania Symphony of the Night and the secrets in the game and it made me think of the talk around the Dark Souls games. Do you think From Software took some inspiration taken from the Castlevania series?

Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright Review

Posted on 03/18/2016 at 04:54 PM | Filed Under Review

Been playing Birthright a little at a time, very little at a time. I am maybe 7 hours into it. I think I like it, but I really need to find more time for it. So far it's been very easy and I haven't felt the need to change equipment (because I haven't picked up anything much) or to tweak much of anything except to feed my troops some fish and peaches. About all I do in combat is send Azura in behind an attacker to sing to him/her, giving him/her another move. I think if I spent more than a half hour at a time with this, I'd figure out more to do, but so far it's been pretty hands off.

I'm playing on Casual, the default setting, but maybe I should've played permadeath to make it more interesting.

Quick Hits: It's Still Green

I dispair that I'll never get Lego Dimensions figures used at Gamestop, but eventually I'll probably get some off Amazon. I'll keep an eye out for sales on the starter pack though.

Cleaning up my Vita: Teslagrad

Posted on 03/18/2016 at 04:33 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I'm not big on memory anymore for consoles or handhelds. The game is always up there on the cloud (or rather the license for it is) so I can redownload it anytime I want. I don't need to have everything installed all the time. Still, the memory that came with my Vita is seriously tiny. I'd like to get some more space so I don't have to erase something every time I buy something new, but the prices are too rediculous to consider right now.

Mario Spin-off Games #4--Mario Teaches Typing

Posted on 03/18/2016 at 01:21 AM | Filed Under Blogs

I was into typing games around when I was learning typing through a Mavis Beacon program, which is great btw. I played Typing of the Dead on Dreamcast and Typer Shark on PopCap's web site. Mavis was better though. I can still touch type today thanks to just a few weeks of the Mavis Beacon program. Thanks Mavis!
