Game backlogs are a bad idea, and die all you trolls!

Posted on 12/15/2014 at 03:27 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I long stopped trusting "professional" game sites (especialy with all the things "that movement that shall not be named" has uncovered) and by now I trust more smaller sites like here on Pixlbit, Youtubers, some forums, or just simply look for info on the game and maybe see a trailer or two.

I hear you on the bad gamers. That said, if Extra Credits has shown me, it's not all bad really and with more developers being created, charities set and more achivements in the medium, a bunch of pricks would never spoil that.

Hyper Dimension Neptunia New Fave RPG

I'm getting an interest in Neptinua, especialy because i'm interested in the console war angle of it and the series seems to have become an unexpected succes on both sides of the planet.

I'll also never forget when Bob Mackey did that clickbait article on 1up when he called the first game "mysoginist" only based on the intro and not playing anything in the game. Let's just say Ben smacked that article HARD.

Just hold there Joe. Who knows if it'll turn bad or the other way around.

Finished Portal 2 Recently

Whichever format you decide, Portal 2 is a must have and one of the best gaming experiences I ever had. Though i'm not sure if console Portal 2 allows for the Steam Workshop maps.

Psst, just leave your grudge for Half-Life and get The Orange Box.

Also, nothing to do with what I said but relevant to the topic, this game was recently released, coincidentally a few days after you uploaded your article.

You beat me on saying that there'll be plenty of opportunities for creating Kaizo levels and all kinds of Plataform Hell.

... and the universe is unfolding as it should.

I knew the Wii U would be a good bargain. i'm going to get one this december.

Now, let's wait till Polygon digs their own hole deeper by still proclaiming that Nintendo is doomed :P

Toad's Top Five!

I'm set for a Wii U this holiday, but i'm not going to get Captain Toad right away. I think i'll wait a bit and get it if the price gets reduced on 2015.

Ludoaudio Cohesion - Why More Games Should be Built Around Music

Music is a nice plus on my games so I support basing some games around music.

I listened to Anamanaguchi last night and kept thinking of a Shmup game were a flying colorful character would use a keytar to blast enemy ships to the rythm of Blackout City, as in the chiptune of that song and notes are the bullets. Really interesting the implementation of music and game experience.

So that New Tomb Raider is XBOne exclusive after all.

I just said they are becoming more prominent on Steam, some doing even better (like Skullgirls). You also need to remember that PC gaming is having a resurgence of sorts, so now a lot of games are either starting there or being ported to PC (like Valkyria Chronicles, which became an unexpected hit on Steam).
