So after CTR, I was stoked for the next real Crash adventure. Unfortunately I'd have to wait a while for it with Crash Bash coming in between, a game I never tried. I could give it a spin now, but it looks like a party game best suited for multiplayer and after Nintendo Land, every game like that seems like ass. Seriously, Nintendo Land is fucking amazing if you can get two to four people with you. But once Crash's next adventure landed, it took a while for me to eventually get the game (until I had an Xbox), but when I did, I was impressed....at the graphics.
Released in 1982 Donkey Kong Jr. is the sequel to Donkey Kong. It’s the first time Jump Man in DK is named Mario and the only time he was a villain in a game. Shigeru Miyamoto designed the game and the graphics were designed by him and with Metroid co-creator Yoshio Sakamoto. The music was by Yukio Kaneoka who also did Donkey Kong.
Coming up on the last week of BaD, didn't think I'd make it this far honestly. Thought something would come up and disrupt everything but I'm glad that wasn't the case. I also hope I reigned in my natural talents for rambling and incoherent thought patterns enough to be understood.
This has been a BaD week for me. Started well enough with a long weekend (had President's Day off on Monday). Chessa and I took the kids out for a fun day at this place TreePaad, which was some bouncey bounces and this big obstacle course thingy with slides and all manner of padded delights. It was a pretty sweet joint and Nicholas had fun in there for 2 hours, while Mikey enjoyed crawling around the toddler area and mingling with some of the other young kids.
This weeks Humble deal is pay over 6 bucks and get 11 Adventure Company (and friends) game. If you drop 15 or more they'll also give you the recently released Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief game too. I don't know much about any of these but I'm really tempted.
So this topic is going to be a bit different...or maybe not. Anyways I love videogames, I enjoy playing video games, I'm opinionated, I review, analyze, and even try to play as many genres as possible. However, I could never do this job professionally and there are many reasons as to why.
So I stopped by a gamestop and I couldn't resist and picked up some cheap games. I think the really only notable games I picked up were LocoRoco 2 and Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The other games were N+, Untold Legends: The Warrior's Code, Hot Pixel, Frantix, and Lemmings. I have heard good things about the Lemmings series. I just trying to get PSP games while gamestop is selling them cheap. I am looking for some really sweet titles. Any titles do. So if you guys have recommendations, drop them by. I really like recommendations haha. I like trying new things but in the same way I don't know where to get into new things.
