Xiaoyu and M. Bison Revealed for Street Fighter x Tekken

Xbox Live Marketplace screenshots inadvertently blow the cover on the two latest challengers.

After screenshots recently went up on the Street Fighter x Tekken profile on Xbox Live Marketplace, Shoryuken spotted two new challengers for the upcoming fighter. M. Bison from the Street Fighter series and Xiaoyu, Tekken mainstay, will be playable. The reveal of these new characters brings the roster to a healthy 30, with 15 characters appearing from each series.

Magnacarta 2 Review Rewind

It doesn't suck, but that's not for lack of trying.

Magnacarta 2 is the latest entry in the historically unremarkable Korean RPG franchise. The first appeared on PC, and the second, better known release, called Tears of Blood, was released on the Play Station 2. There have been quite a few changes since its last appearance: it's on a new platform, has a newly overhauled combat system, has a new world and story, and uses the newer, flashier Unreal engine 3 to power its visuals. The one thing that hasn't changed, however, is the fact that the game still remains unremarkable.

Anonymous Targets Sony Over SOPA

The hacker group is displeased with the PlayStation maker once again.

The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) has been a hot button issue among gamers, writers, and anyone that uses the internet for more than email and shopping. Ostensibly a bill designed to put an end to piracy, the wording is so broad that it would be possible for the U.S. government to shut down any website that features any copyrighted material. That affects everything, from Facebook to YouTube to your very own PixlBit. Many large companies, such as EA and Nintendo, support SOPA. The hacker group Anonymous is stepping in now and they have threatened to attack Sony over their support of the controversial bill.

Trine 2 Review

You should never judge a book by its cover, even if it is one of the most gorgeous covers you've ever seen.

It’s obvious that Trine 2 is trying to impress.  The bright and vibrant visuals paint a particularly lovely picture and the music is appropriate – thunderous at times and ambient at others.  The production values suggest it may be one of the best puzzle platformers released in quite some time, but after digging a little deeper it only proves that you can't judge a game by its looks alone.

Joe Danger: Special Edition Review

It’s Joooooe DANGER!!!

Joe Danger: Special Edition is about the daredevil Joe Danger who is attempting to make a comeback after an accident in a previous stunt. The colorful graphics and exciting soundtrack give the game a great presentation and gets you pumped to do an assortment of tricks and tasks. It has a very old school, arcade feel that’s been polished for this generation.

Japanese Vita Games Make Use of Online Pass

Could the Online Pass be coming to handhelds in North America?

The PlayStation Vita was recently released in Japan with a North American and European launch coming this February.  Since the Japanese launch, the internet has been abuzz with information regarding the hardware and software as it has been released in Japan.  While most of the buzz pertains to information that was already well known, Destructoid discovered something not previously publicized about Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational – that the game requires an online pass to play online.

Twisted Metal fans that decide to purchase the upcoming PlayStation 3 release brand new will find something a little extra in the box. That’s because the first printing of Twisted Metal is getting a free “Limited Edition” upgrade that includes a download voucher for the critically acclaimed Twisted Metal Black for PS2. Sony just recently started releasing PS2 games on the PSN store, but this is the first new game to come with a voucher for a title that appeared on Sony’s previous console.
