PixlTalk Episode 24, Side B: Xbox Live Has Some Disease I Can't Mention For Fear of Being Banned!

For some reason, the name of this half of the episode isn't as catchy as the original song.

Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D Preview

Step your little foot into this land before time, a time full of carnage.

The Combat of Giants series in a nutshell consists of a gathering of whatever enormous creatures man can muster up and then pitting them against each other to the death. But for the first time ever, Ubisoft Montreal is bringing all the carnage and frenzy into eye popping 3D.

3DS Demo Unit in the Wild

Much to my surprise, a casual stop at Best Buy reveals the first 3DS demo unit I have yet to see.

On my way home from work today, I made a pit stop at Best Buy in an attempt to find a copy of Dragon Quest V on the DS. I recently came to realize just how rare it was and have been trying to secure a copy before it becomes extraordinarily expensive (it's already well on its way). Sleeping With the Television On

Not just a Billy Joel song, but what happens when I play games of questionable quality for review.

It’s surprising what you find out about yourself after reviewing stacks of video games – or what other people seem to find out about you. At my last job, I worked with a bunch of guys who were all into video games, and as a matter of fact, most of those guys write for the site – Jason Hillhouse, Stanton Daries, and Sam Hawkins, to name a few. 2010 Staff Picks

Several members of our staff have taken the time to choose their favorite games in a number of categories.

With the 2010 PixlBit Game of the Year awards come and gone, the staff have taken a more detailed look at the games of 2010. Since the usual awards deal only with choosing overall best games in general categories, we've created some very specific awards to give some attention to titles that don't quite make the cut for a general award. Which title was most unique? Which game had the best in co-op? What was the best minigame? See what the staff has to say.
