Chest-thumpin' good times.
Donkey Kong Country Returns is the most self-explanatory title since New Super Mario Brothers. It's literally a return to the vine-swinging, barrel-blasting, death pit hoppin', baddie stomping, 2D platforming of the original Donkey Kong Country. It's half remake, half remix, and a whole lotta fun. Old-school never gets old... but it can get a little messy.

Yesterday, Atlus announced plans to release Catherine in America. After a teaser sent late last week, asked Atlus Faithful, "Do You Still Like Us?" Atlus announced full plans to bring the latest from the creators of Persona 3 and 4 to the United States. The game, which will be releasing on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, offers up a unique blend of genres not unlike what has been offered in the Persona series.

While popular word at PixlBit is that the Virtual Console on the Wii is dead in the water, Nintendo and Hudson are intent on proving us wrong. The pair has released Bomberman Hero, originally on the Nintendo 64, to the service... in PAL territories.
