Ace Combat Joint Assault is the second title in the series to see release on the PlayStation Portable. While the first title brought the popular series to the handheld, this second iteration adds in the ability to play with up-to-three other friends locally or with other random pilots via the Internet. The general gameplay has remained consistent, so players can expect the typical Ace Combat gameplay, which is strongly focused on dogfighting and ground target destruction.

A major improvement to the Dead Rising formula.
The first Dead Rising left something to be desired in nearly all aspects of its gameplay. Saving stranded individuals was an exercise in frustration, throwing random items at zombies delivered limited entertainment, and the entire experience felt disjointed and random, even for a sandbox game. Fortunately, Dead Rising 2 manages to overcome many of the pitfalls of its predecessor, with a solid storyline that ties in neatly with the improved gameplay. Though many of the smaller issues remain, the changes made to the Dead Rising formula greatly improve the overall experience.

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter hearkens back to the first person shooters of yesteryear. There's no real attempt at story, objectives aren't included, and players need only focus on killing everything in sight and moving on to the next room to do it again. Of course, the title is a remake of the 2002 game with the same name, this time with upgraded visuals and an additional mode, Co-Op Tournament. While many staples of modern day shooter design aren't present here, that doesn't mean it isn't an enjoyable romp.
