Heavy On the Chic, Still on the Geek

A dozen or so fashion styles that keep trends just as much in line as geeky interests.

Everyone loves clothing, especially nice clothes, which help you feel good, get a job, and impress your girlfriend's family. But what people love most about clothes is using them as an outlet of self-expression. I've worn every type of clothing a girl could possibly wear, from frilly dresses in my youngest days to large men's tees from Hot Topic in my young teens. Nowadays I try to balance my two inner-mes out between self-expressionist and old band tees and trendy designer dressings and ankle boots (which I've only worn twice, I won't lie!!). Clothing is actually how I met my one true love as well, as I bumped face first into Neal's Super Mario Bros. tee. Let's face it – clothes are important for almost every aspect of life.

Spyborgs Review

Maybe old-school brawlers just aren't as cool as they used to be.

Spyborgs pretty much went through development hell. It originally surfaced in 2008 and was a cartoony game with interactive commercials. Then it was M.I.A. for a number of months and came back as a comic book-esque beat-'em-up with a decidedly darker feel, story, and tone. On some levels, the new style works, but for the most part, Spyborgs is just a polished endless barrage of enemies with some cool set pieces.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Review

Nathan Drake is back for his second adventure in this stunning PlayStation 3 title.

It's impressive to finally see gaming approach a level of complexity in character and story development that parallels what we see in most modern movies. After viewing the very first cutscene in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves I was immediately impressed. Never before had I seen character interaction, dialog, and nuanced expression executed so well in a video game. Uncharted 2 does a spectacular job engaging players in what amounts to be a ten hour interactive movie.

Games I Missed: How I Ate Things And Showed A Girl: A Love Story About Noby Noby Boy

Neal is wowed by Namco Bandai's PSN downloadable title Noby Noby Boy. Why is running around as a worm-like creature eating and pooping things awesome?

One of my most anticipated PlayStation 3 games before I finally caved in and bought one last week was Noby Noby Boy, the $5 downloadable game from the creator of Katamari Damacy. I'll admit, I was swayed by the Tokyo Game Show 2008 gameplay demo, which later became part of the game's awesome and complex pause menu, but there's more to it and after playing the game, that is very true.
