Though the original incarnation was released as an Arcade title, the follow up title will only be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Hackers Attack Back - System Update 4.2

Nintendo's update may have caused a slight bump in the road, but the homebrew community is already answering back after just one short day.

Yesterday, Nintendo made a full-out assault against the Wii homebrew community by releasing a veiled update. The update did its best to wipe all hacks from the system, a task which it nearly completed successfully.

Gyromancer Started as a Joke

The PopCap/Square Enix game, which mixes Bejeweled Twist with RPG elements, was brought up as a joke, according to PopCap's CCO.

Jason Kapalka, PopCap Games' co-founder and CCO, spoke with Wired about the recently announced puzzle-RPG hybrid Gyromancer for Xbox Live Arcade and Steam. The game, a PopCap and Square Enix collaboration surprisingly began as a joke.

Twitter Updates Removed From Uncharted 2

Naughty Dog's 140 character version: "Heard concerns about Twitter chapter updates for UNCHARTED 2. We've just disabled it but will patch soon to reactivate with frequency limits"

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which launches on October 13, was planning to have a feature where players could link their Twitter account to their game and then have game updates automatically posted on their Twitter page. With press copies out, pandemonium has already started as there have been multiple automatic posts per hour. In response, developer Naughty Dog's Co-President Evan Wells has announced that the feature has been temporarily axed.
