Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which launches on October 13, was planning to have a feature where players could link their Twitter account to their game and then have game updates automatically posted on their Twitter page. With press copies out, pandemonium has already started as there have been multiple automatic posts per hour. In response, developer Naughty Dog's Co-President Evan Wells has announced that the feature has been temporarily axed.
The latest Famitsu reveals Chunsoft's latest mystery dungeon game, Shiren the Wanderer 4, which will hit the DS in Japan in 2010.
Shiren the Wanderer 4 will be the first in the series to be made specifically for DS when it comes to Japan in 2010.

More information about Gameloft's remake of Earthworm Jim has been uncovered thanks to GamerBytes. The late 2009 release is a from-the-ground-up remake of the 1994 Sega Genesis version, and will have a lot of upgrades, including smoother animations, different difficulty levels (a feature not in the original), and even the original music from Tommy Tallarico.

The first of five downloadable episodes of Fable II came out today. The episodes, first revealed at Gamescom 2009, are small parts of Fable II's 2008 retail release broken up for the digital world.

A source told Joystiq that Game Crazy will be shutting the doors of 200 of its locations by the end of the October. Overall, there are around 680 Game Crazies across the nation. Hollywood Videos that are attached to the condemned Game Crazies will remain open, however.
