PixlTalk Episode 44: Crew Two's Vita Blues

The first week of the second crew of the PixlTalk podcast debuts, complete with Vita whining and a hodgepodge of topics to conclude the show.

As hinted at a couple episodes ago, PixlTalk is going weekly once again. Rather than hearing the same crew every week, each crew will occupy alternating weekly time slots and tonight's episode is the first from the second crew. While Julian will ultimately take over the hosting duties, for this week previous podcast regulars Nick, Chessa, and Jason help break him into his new podcasting role.

Last Guardian Executive Producer Leaves

This follows rumors of the head of Team Ico leaving.

Yoshifusa Hayama, the executive producer of the hotly anticipated Playstation 3 release The Last Guardian, has left Sony to work for a Facebook game developer, IGN is reporting. After four years with the company, Yoshifusa will join Bossa Studios as creative director.

Uncharted 3 has had impressive sales numbers since its release and we now have some details about the numbers the series has sold as a whole. The Uncharted franchise, since its start in 2007, has shipped over 13 million copies worldwide. This makes the series one of the most popular new IPs of the console generation.

Sony Exclusive Fighting Game to Mash-Up Mascots?

A Smash Bros. inspired fighter may be in the works.

Rumors have been abundant over the last two days about Sony’s potential new Intellectual Property. It’s possible that they have been pointing toward a Super Smash Brothers style fighting game. Uncharted 3 Patch Fixes Aiming in Single Player

Players' complaints have been addressed.

Since Uncharted 3's release last month, players have complained that the game's aiming doesn't feel quite right. Naughty Dog, the developer of the series, has now addressed those complaints and released a patch with an option to adjust the settings in the single player mode.

DCU Getting Flash DLC

DC Universe players are getting Flashed (ugh) later this year.

The second pack of downloadable content has been announced for DC Universe Online. Titled Lightning Strikes, the DLC includes electricity powers, making it the 8th power set, and a new adventure starring The Flash. Legendary players will get this content for free while other players can purchase the DLC for $9.99.
