Just now, I had the opportunity to briefly hold the new Wii U tablet controller. I wanted to quickly share my opinions, so this will be brief.

It's not the Lost Vikings exactly, but it's close enough that you should be excited.

Huge Definition.
The first demo was a 30-second Zelda HD cutscene of Link entering a spectacular room and fighting a giant spider. The Wii U's HD capabilities turn a simple boss room into a massive and beautiful palace hall, and the spider was incredibly intimidating, full of segmented body ridges, menacing mouth parts, and hair (shudder). It was fluid, detailed, ornate, colorful, brilliant in light contrasts, but a limited experience.

Light and Dark battle it out in Kid Icarus: Uprising
Kid Icarus: Uprising has been one of my most anticipated titles for the Nintendo 3DS since its initial announcement last year. While the 3DS has come out and Kid Icarus still hasn't, fans wondered what was in store for them once they finally get their hands on it. One thing I can say, is that the game is very fun and there's a lot more to it than expected.
Luigi's Mansion makes a surprise return in this 3DS sequel.
To be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan of the original Luigi's Mansion. It's not that I thought it was a bad game, but I always thought it was a bit boring. That's why I'm surprised to say that I enjoyed my time with Luigi's Mansion 2. The game seems to be following the same, humorous roots as the original, but expands on them in ways that make it not only accessible, but fun on the 3DS hardware.
Mario Kite...i mean Kart races on to the 3DS, and it's AWESOME
Mario Kart for the Nintendo 3DS is definitely looking to once again suck up massive amounts of playtime from gamers. My hands on with the game surely proves that may very well be the case this holiday.
How does the latest Rayman game and return to the series' roots look so far?

According to Matt R, Miyamoto announced in Nintendo's roundtable that Wii U is the new home of the next Pikmin.
During Nintendo's roundtable tonight, Miyamoto revealed that Pikmin 3 has been shifted from the Wii to the Wii U. The game had been in development for Wii for some time, but was moved when Wii U development began because the system caters so well to the Pikmin game design.
