I remember the first days with my Nintendo 64. It was Christmas, 1996, and I was living at my parents' house in Minnesota. To say it was winter outside would be an understatement. Meanwhile, I slowly sneaked through winter winds on the snow/sniper board in Goldeneye. I'd never imagined a game so enveloping. I snuck through the environment, aiming at enemy heads a hundred yards away. "THUMP!" went the silence rifle as I sent them to their graves.
