Before I go on any trip where I won’t be sleeping in my own bed that night I go through this weird phase where I want to bring all these random things for me to do, to keep me busy because I don’t want to be bored. I’ve always done this and it happened again when I went to Vegas. At one point my carry-on bag consisted of the Switch, the 3DS XL, the Vita, and the mini laptop filled with every emulator and rom from the 8-16 bit era. This isn’t including the iPad that had a bunch of games, the Android tablet that is all books, with all the same stuff as the mini laptop, the phone, and the Android Music player that had basically all the same stuff as the mini laptop. This isn’t including the video content, the Spotify Downloaded Music Playlists, and digital books. Crazy, right? I knew I wasn’t going to use all of this but still I had this weird obsession but I finally paired it down to the mini laptop, the iPad, the Switch, my phone, and the Android Music player. Guess what I used the most on the entire trip? The stupid Android Music Player that surprise I listened to a bunch of Podcasts that were downloaded.

Good morning Pixlpeeps! So I was at the local Treasure Hunt yesterday and I found a bunch of cool stuff, that surprise involves gaming so I’m gonna share that with you. Spoiler this is going to be just a pickup blog and if you want to know what I watched (Mandalorian = very good, Jack Ryan S1 = excellent, MTV’s The Challenge = very good, all sorts of rastlin’ = hit and miss) or what I listened to (tons of podcasts), or what I read (zip, zilch, nada) that can probably be found in next week’s blog. Today it’s all about my finds because I want to hit the bank, grab some breakfast, and maybe check out a thrift or two today. Let’s get started.

Good afternoon Pixlpeeps! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving (for you Canadian folks I hope you had a wonderful week). I did something different this year and spent time with the family in Las Vegas. We spent a week in Las Vegas and went to the strip once. Crazy, right? Anyways let’s take a look.

On Saturday I had a blog all typed up because I didn’t want to get out of bed and be productive. After finishing it I didn’t like it so here we are…I’LL READ IT LIVE!!! This opened up more time for me to actually play some games. Crazy, right? Let’s take a quick tour because I think my laundry is almost done.

So this is Southern California the past week: HOT. Last week it was in the 70s, I wore a hoodie (with shorts), the windows were open and everything is good. This week, it is warm there’s no hoodie (still wearing shorts), and yesterday I broke down and turned the AC on. I fought the good fight but it got toasty. After I update you good people on my randomness I will most likely head out to the bank, maybe check out the thrift stores on the way back, and then get an ice coffee before starting the 3 day weekend so let’s get this started.

Last week I decided to connect my Switch Dock to the TV and give the Switch a try on the big screen for a week to see how I like it. I like it but this opened up another door of gaming, here’s why: I have a couple of HDMI ports on the TV, so awhile ago I bought this switcher that adds three extra slots and takes up one HDMI slot on the TV. Plugged it in, connected the USB cable to the TV’s USB to power it and I was back to a couple of years ago when I had a bunch of stuff connected. In this one slot I have my Switch, the return of the 360, and the PS4. I have those connected along with the PS3 and I’m golden but like I said it opened up another door.

It’s November 1^st which means…

*So apparently I did not hit Live so my post yesterday didn’t get posted. My bad. Anyways I’m eating breakfast and I might as well give this another go.

Summer is trying to hold on right now but it is getting cooler here in Sunny Southern California. I think we are at the last couple of days of 90+ before it drops and I’m ready for it. Don’t get me wrong I do love the summer but after a couple of months of triple digits, I’m ok with wearing a hoodie and *gasp* maybe pants instead of shorts. Anyways that’s just me, let’s get started.

We are what a week away from Halloween and I still haven’t bought any candy, carved a pumpkin, or figured out which jersey I want to wear as I hand out candy. Since my neighborhood has so few people who go trick or treatin’ everyone gets a handful of candy. The neighborhood also had an event at the park last week where people were supposed to park at the clubhouse and handout candy from their trunk. I didn’t do this because it was last Saturday, and in the daytime. Anyways we have had enough candy talk let’s see what Chris has played.
