I’ve been up since 5:45am after going to sleep around midnight so I’m ready for my power nap all so I can watch guys on bicycles in France. This will only go on until Sunday when the Tour de France ends which is sad but I am grateful to have it because for the most part it felt normal. Random crazy folks on the sides of the road, dressed up, and having a good time felt like pre 2020. I had breakfast, and finished off my Breakfast Pepsi but I could really go for an iced coffee (not the Starbucks coffee milkshakes, but actual coffee with ice) Until I decide to put on shoes and jump in the truck I will sit here, type and see if I can remember all the Quick Hits stuff I did.

I tend to skip around a lot especially when the games I’ve been playing don’t really have a story mode or anything really compelling that I need to finish right away. I like to believe most people are like that but I could be the one crazy in the bunch. Who knows, but I tend to make things kind of interesting. This past week there really hasn’t been a must play game with a storyline. Actually I kind of did play one but the story was really easy to figure out but more on that game later. So what did I play? Let’s find out.

Bagels with Cream Cheese and a side of leftover WingStop isn’t the ideal breakfast but it was tasty yet now I would like a nap and it’s only 10:55am. Let’s get productive before I give in and ruin this humid, hazy (lots of smoke in the air because California is on fire) Tuesday morning. Let’s get started with things before I forget. I may have a good rant.

Ok so I just finished the stage 5 (?) of the Tour de France, I didn’t take out a breakfast sandwich because last night’s Panda Express isn’t sitting well. Apparently when you ask for Orange Chicken they give you spicy chicken that isn’t sweet. I really need to find a mom & pop Chinese spot that offers Sweet N’ Sour Pork. Going back to actual gaming stuff I tried to write a Quick Hits but ended up getting sidetracked with random trips to different stores, but here we are on a Monday and apparently it’s September. Who knew? Let’s get started.

So I finished my breakfast sandwich and I found that if I wrap it the opposite way (having the ends of the paper towel meet on the bottom instead of the top) the cheese at the top doesn’t get hard. Real life mod I tell ya. I’m going to type most of this up before I head off to Target to look for G.I. Joe’s for my 4 month old nephew. He won’t play with these toys for at least 6 or 7 years but at least they’ll be ready.

Let’s set the mood: It’s currently 99 degrees with a high of 115, the AC is on, I have a floor fan next to me, listening to a 90s R&B playlist on Spotify waiting for my breakfast sandwich to defrost so I can burn my mouth. The setting is set so let’s get started.

I finished my breakfast sandwich, and my Pepsi is almost empty which means I should update you good people before I go about the rest of this hot as heck Friday. It’s going to be a “cool” 117° and I will be inside. I would go to the pool but you know everything is closed and besides that water would be warm too…although I could buy a kids pool and some bags of ice. Hmmmmm. Before I make a random trip to Walmart for a kids pool and bags of ice let’s get started.

The morning ritural: either wait for breakfast sandwich to thaw before tossing it into the microwave or wait or the breakfast sandwich to cool down a bit from Surface of the Sun to Burn Your Taste Buds Pizza Rolls hot. Oh the simple things…I have an ice cold Pepsi going so let’s catch up.

It’s been awhile since I have done one of these but welcome back to Quick Hits with Chris! Yes this is where I ramble on about nothing really, just stuff I’ve watched, stuff I’ve read, and any other some what interesting things that are happening here. Let’s get started!

It’s the usual routine, wait for the breakfast sandwich to get to a temperature where it doesn’t burn off my fingerprints, I am here. I just noticed that the spot on my toolbar where the office program should be doesn’t have the little icon so I searched and found out that I have Solitaire on my laptop. I’m gonna play that in a bit but first let’s catch up on other games I played.
