Not much going on for me in 2009, when I look back. I read a lot of books and played a lot of games. I bought a new laptop, an Inspiron from Dell that's still working today. The urge to upgrade is very strong right now. Here are some of my favorite media from 2009.

2008 was about the end of my music career, if I can call it that. We still jammed a lot but we only played one summer pool party gig. Even though the band was fading, I was still heavily invovled with various media, mostly gaming and reading. Here are five of my favorites from five different media formats.

This whole time I was thinking Xbox was going to add mobile games to its Game Pass collection. It wasn't that at all. It's cloud streaming of games already in Game Pass on whatever device you want. Thing is, you need a good connection, and I only have that at my friend's place where my console is. With a console in the room, I'm not likely to play through my phone.

I guess a lot of people were watching American Idol and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest; playing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, listening to High School Musical and reading yet another James Patterson book, but I was somewhere else (except for Pirates, I do like those movies).
