I was curious about the Blazblue game. I'm glad you reviewed it.

Great blog. I'm sorry to hear about the harassment you've faced. That really sucks. My best friend is a woman (and a geek), and I've seen her go through a lot of the same things. While I would like to say that things are getting better in public spaces, I feel things are still pretty awful online. Playing Halo 3 online with her turned me off from online gaming with strangers. I think that the only thing that would end online harassment is if we could get rid of anonymity on the internet and harassers had to answer for the harmful things that they say (or write), but I have no idea how to possibly go about doing that. Thanks for sharing your story.
Hey Ben. Nice artwork as always. The rabbit's are very unsettling.
Also you already know my feelings on sexual expression in art, so I don't need to go into it here. I'll only say this. While people have the right to complain about things they don't like and their feelings are very valid, they do not have the right to never be offended.
Finally, the biggest influence on games and game design going forward will be money. Cold hard cash. While I feel that most triple A games will emulate the PG-13 model that mainstream movies follow, I don't think things will change too much. We will continue to get games that make money, and the ones that don't will adapt to the smaller digital model or go away. To ensure that we continue to get the games that we want, we just have to keep buying them.
Sorry if I missed that last couple of blogs. I was on vacation for several weeks, and I didn't get online much. I'm still going to read them and look at the awesome artwork.
Awesome art as usual. Kara is a cool character.
The whole "Thor" thing isn't that deep. They are trying something new to move issues (and it will probably work... for a little while). This is the Death of Superman all over again. If it gets new readers and people like it, then we will have a new Thor. If it fizzles out, then they will get rid of her, or make her her own new character. It's a stunt, but comics have been "stunty" for awhile. Maybe I'm dead inside, because I didn't even blink... lol. I don't read mainstream comics anymore anyway. I'm not that invested. I also think you can blame the new Thor movies for this change as well. Maybe I'm crazy, but they seem to have a larger female fan base then the other characters. Maybe that's why Thor was chosen.
It's good to see you're back, and awesome to see you brought more art. Nice.
I've only played the first Dead Space. I meant to play the second one too, but I never got around to it. Reading about what you went through has left me a bit intimidated...
Birth By Sleep was awesome. I'm glad you're enjoying it. I saved Aqua for last as well. Her design was very cool.
I also had a ton of fun with Kirby's Dream Course. Good memories.
Nice game cover. It looks good colored.
Bitter Back is challenging, but there is some great equipment for your character on that island. Don't be hesitate to run from some of the tougher eneimies at first too. Bitter Back and the Everfall are a lot of fun.
Same here. If I had only known that this weekend...
Sorry to hear about your injury. I hope you get better.
Great pickups! Those are some awesome games. Valkyria Chronicles is worth buying multiple times. I also bought Persona Golden (and Muramasa Rebirth) even though I don't own a Vita yet either... Two of my favorite games of the year didn't do it for you. I played through Dragon's Crown with friends, which is probably the optimal way to play that game. Dragon's Dogma gets better the deeper you get, and some of the best content is the end of game stuff. Still you have such a large and great collection, you probably don't want to waste time with stuff you don't like.
I remember Argarest War. While it's no Final Fantasy Tactics, I thought it was a fun game. I made it to the second generation before something pulled me away. I picked up the second Argarest War on Amazon when they were having a sale, but I'm still waiting to finish the first one (Oh pile of shame, how you keep growing.)... The biggest piece of controversy surrounding that game was the mouse pad with the breast wrist rests that was included in the box (from what I can remember).
I really enjoyed Lollipop Chainsaw. It's one of the best playing Suda 51 games I've played. I hope you enjoy it too.
