If you do free play mode, I don't think they show you where to go (since it's free play), so maybe that's what you were doing?

From what I remember about RCR, there was always a radar and arrows telling you where to go, so unclear goals wasn't much of a problem for me.

Yes it's a good collection. RCR is pretty good, too, but it's more fun for the laughs, not the gameplay.

Yeah the Bit.Trip game in RCR was based on Bit.Trip Runner. There are a lot of auto-running games running amok on cell phones now.
