You know how much I love Wizardry, lol. I'm psyched, because I found all my old maps from back in the day and I can't wait to play again.

I wasn't able to watch any of the World Cup games between not having cable and working, so that was a little disappointing. I can't complain too much, because I got to go to four games back in 2003, and watched the US team knock the Norwegian team out of the running (and, unfortunately, out of the Olympics, as well). Mia Hamm was amazing, you always knew where she was on the field because there was this wave of sound that followed her wherever she was. It was also Abby Wambach's first year on the team, so that was really cool, too.
Little known fact for the day: England sacrificed a bunch of soldiers at St Valery at the same time Dunkirk was being evacuated.
I can't wait to get my retro corner set up once the old heating system is removed! I'm going to hunt down Little Nemo, and play Wizardry, and Dragon Warrior II and III and... and...
I loved The Maw, even if I didn't get very far in it. I should go back and knock it off Mount Backlog.
I remember shareware well. Back in the day when a game like Wizardry ran about $70, it was one of the only ways I could afford to game. We had a Snake clone, and a bunch of others, some of which didn't work terribly well.
I spent it working, like any other day.
The month or so I was without internet at home, I played through Arkham Asylum and found all of the Riddler Challenges on my own. Felt pretty proud of myself.
I preordered Ni No Kuni, played it for a bit, and then lost interest. The battle system was what put me off. It's such a pretty game, and I was into the story, so I guess I really should go back to it sometime.
Your daughter has excellent taste.
It's like crack. I find myself going "here, fishy, fishy!" while playing, and being extremely disappointed if the fish I catch is one I already have.
