I got Xillia when it was on sale. Played a little bit and seems fun so far, but I probably won't get back to it for a while with South Park on the horizon.

Othello really is his best and most underrated work. No clue how so many of his others are more popular.
I really love Portal, but am not sure if I'd call it immersive. Engaging as fuck, but it's the kind of game that keeps me aware I'm playing a video game, not that it's a bad thing of course (in fact, that's one of the things I love about it).
Portal's one of my favorites, but not quite top 5 material for me. I definitely prefer 2 though. The single player's a bit of a step down, too much cinematic stuff than the series needed IMO, but man is the co-op so amazing. It really takes the gameplay up to the next level.
True. Just saying, kind of funny how over half of them are here
Console wars from that era are different than console wars now. Sega actually promoted a huge campaign against Nintendo, which Nintendo retaliated against, which is somewhat interesting looking back on it. Now all we had that was anything like that was Sony owning MS at E3, and ever since the Xbone reversed that, it's ending completely. Trust me, no one's going to be making a movie on PS4 vs Xbone unless one of them causes the company to go bankrupt.
Honestly, I think the best discussion you'll get on console wars is right here
Love this series so much, it had a similar impact on me since Xbox was my first console as well and I got it with this game. My favorite FPS too, but it just barely misses out on my top 10.
South Park's the one I'm most excited for on here. Also really interested in Titanfall, Infamous, and MGS next month.
Best way to get a game working on Windows 8 is to build a time machine and stopping your past self from installing Windows 8. The Scarecrow bits in Batman were my favorite too, came out of nowhere but were so brilliant.
So basically every one except Sonic 06?
I like stories in games, but usually need a little variety. For ever Last of Us or Mass Effect, I usually need a Pokemon or Mario where the story isn't a big deal, just let me go around and have fun. Though when a story driven game is bad lately, it tends to be more painful than when a gameplay focused one is (see Beyond: Two Souls and Assassin's Creed 3).
