damn, dude. that's a lot of freakin CD's! I respect that though. I used to be all about the MP3 these past years, but lately I've been buying CD's instead. I justy feel happier with a hard copy of the record. I want to get into vinyl, but I haven't made the investment into a turntable yet.

ha, yeah I was pretty ambiguous about her, but this takes the cake. I can't believe EA would consult with her about this stuff. How did she get so big?? And saying Mirror's Edge was too hard?! I really agree with you and think she's not a hardcore gamer. What games does she play? She's changed from a crank to a destructive force.
I mean, I appreciate what she's trying to say. There are real issues, but she doesn't seem to have a handle on them, and has about as much knowledge about the industry as my dad, who's never played a game other than chess. She is almost making the problem worse with the backlash she is creating.
it seems like that's the entire direction our society is headed towards, unfortunately, where you don't own things, but you rent them from the overlords. It started out with movies and music and games, all of which are transitioning over to streaming rather than physical media that you own. What could be next? Renting farmland from the king? It's kind of scary.
I played the beta and didn't really like it. I'm all for more Marvel games though. Looking forward to Lego Marvel.

I appreciate games that have good character generators. That's really important to me for creating immersion, being able to customize my avatar.
Ah, Parappa the Rapper. I remember when it came out, and its glorious sequel, Um Jammer Lammy. I love those damn games. They can be difficult though.

this is on sale for $30. Should I get it? I've heard it's pretty good. I would probably mostly play alone though, don't know many people who have it.

I really like the artwork too. I'm just astonished you did all these. I really respect people who take on projects like this, fan-made stuff that you can't otherwise sell, and that you do only because you love the content so much.
I'm gonna dig around and listen to some more of these, but bravo!
