White Knight Chronicles 2 Requires Clear Data From First Title

Posted on 06/06/2010 at 07:46 PM | Filed Under News

That is very interesting how Level 5 is handling the sequel, to actually force people to beat the original as a pre-requisite in order just to play the sequel. It's nice that they are including the original WKC in the WKC2 disc with the enhancements found in the sequel.

I think how they are handling the online component of both versions of the original WKC is very odd. The fact that both versions of the original game can still communicate with each other via messaging while not being able to play with each other doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

Yeah, the sound quality is very good especially if you use headphones. Though I would only advise to pick up this edition if you have a DSi, since if you only have a regular DS or lite you wouldn't be able to use most of the enhancements that Plus provides. Due to the fact that this is one of the few DSi enhanced games that takes advantage of the DSi's increased processor speed and RAM.

Splinter Cell: Conviction Review

@Jason - I don't think the score has anything to do with this. Nick is obviously disappointed that Ubisoft deviated from the core mechanics that made him enjoy the Splinter Cell series so much. Instead Ubisoft made it more akin to modern action games in order to appeal to a wider audience in the hopes of more sales.

I'm sure if Conviction was more akin to the Splinter Cell games released on the Xbox/PS2/GameCube then Nick would of most likely given this a more favorable review.

I wonder why they would need a new peripheral to make the Wii Remote more accurate since this thing looks like a piece of plastic. They should of just made the game Wii MotionPlus compatible if they were looking for more accuracy.

I also don't understand how this would be the first third-party peripheral approved by Nintendo since there has been Guitar Hero, Rock Band, DJ Hero instruments, DDR mats, a Power Pad, the Ubisoft camera, and even the EA Sports Active peripherals ..... wow that's a lot of peripherals for Wii and that's not even counting the Nintendo peripherals!

Natal to Cost $149.99?

Jason, considering that at one point Microsoft charged $100 dollars for a A,B,G standard Wi-Fi adapter and for a 20GB Hard Drive, I wouldn't be shocked if Natal or Wave (the rumored final Natal name) is priced at $150. Microsoft is absolutely atrocious with peripheral pricing.
