I love Sonic but I haven't played any of the recent 3D games, not generations or colors or anything.  I don't know, I just can't get the willpower to do so.

for me, today is about staying up later, waking up early, and problems with the bank.

ha ha, well platformer fans aren't as insane as JRPG fans.  You have to be pretty chill to play those boards over and over while you get knocked into pits by flying fish.

I've never played this version but I've played the arcade version emulated on MAME.  I used to love the NES original, I must have beat it a hundred times. 

when i lived in San Francisco there was a museum of old school "arcade" games and player pianos.  I'm not sure if it still exists.

I never had any problems with HEavy Rain either, and I loved it.  That scene in the doctor's house is a bit much though, I will admit.

ah, well, no game is perfect.  I'm not the biggest fan of the battle system, wish it was more turn based like FF or DQ, but it's okay. I hate that so many developers are afraid to make true turn based games anymore except for handhelds or mobile. 

I like everything else about the game though. 

I love Ni NO Kuni but I haven't had time for games lately.  I want to get back to it though, it's a really neat game.
