I agree with Chrozi's point on presentation here, Microsoft did not have the bed side mannor to get away with it and their lack of focus on actual gaming, their phrasing of people not having full connection to internet 24 hrs a day being told to 'use 360' and their lack of forethought regarding sharing (hence the reason their 30 day policy bull shit would not be available at launch) coupled strongly with the fact that these restriction are placed at the 'base of the tree. The Last of Us is like a big juicy piece of fruit hanging off that three, as juicy as it is it's still just a small part which can be ignord with out spoiling all your enjoyment. You do make some excellent points though, and personally I find network passess bull shit. A great example is Red Dead redemption. That game is widely available in GOTY edition for next to nothing second hand but I rarely see it, because it's such an awesome game. Infact I made the mistake of selling my copy and bought it again at reduced retail price because It's that awesome. If developers make games worth our time, people will keep them, I ve pretty much given up with Capcom games for this reason, they are robbing shits, I cannot stand their approach to the consumer and they deserve more back lash than microsoft in my opinion, but because the fruit is much cheaper than the tree they can get away with it.
