I might actually get the first one played by then. Jgusw mentioned that, too.

It was during one of the first two seasons, I think. Either Kate or Abby asks what Ducky looked like when he was young and Gibbs replies: "Like Illya Kuryakin", to which who ever asked the question looks blank. It was pretty funny, if you knew that the actor was the same in both series.

Yep, that would be the one. Thirty-one lengths, to be exact. What an amazing animal!

Loved that scene! I've been trying to watch more movies that are considered classics lately. Casablanca's on that list, as is Apocalypse Now.

And David MacCallum was also Illya Kuryakin in The Man From UNCLE, a fact that NCIS used as an easter egg in one early episode.

Love Documement and Hold Your Fire. Haven't been all that impressed with U2 after their first three albums. Every once in a while they'll put out a song I like, but it's never enough for me to buy a whole album.

Our crew comes back on a staggered basis, but there are only five of us during the height of the season, and only three before mid-May. We're all over-worked, under-paid, and under-staffed, but that's business as usual working for any park system.

No, he's not. I refuse to believe it. I will ignore any movie where he attempts to portray the Caped Crusader and pretend it doesn't exist.

It takes an exceptional horse to be able to run the short distance of the Preakness and the longer distance of the Belmont. Most horses are either sprinters (the Preakness winners) or stayers (the Belmont), few are both. Look up the footage of Secretariat's win of the Belmont sometime if you want to see something incredible. After he died, they did an autopsy and discovered that his heart was almost twice the size of the average thoroughbred's heart.

Yeah, pretty proud of the kid. Glad I made the trip - only people there for him were me, my sister, and my ex-brother-in-law. The nickname Bean comes from when he was a toddler and he did something incredibly cute and clever and I said "Aren't you Auntie's clever little bean!" and he replied with much enthusiasm "yeah!" And then he proceeded to tell everyone else who tried to call him Bean that that was Aunnie Aunnie's name for him and they couldn't use it.
