I always appreciated the effort that goes into making a detailed game environment. I agree with you that while gameplay and controls are important, having a beautiful environment to explore is what compels me to keep playing a game.
This whole situation is simultaneously hilarious and sad. I keep replaying in my head that one video from CNN where a serious discussion was going on about the NSA and how it got interrupted about his latest escapades.

I didn't watch the Grammys this year because I was watching other stuff, but I did read about how the last performance was cut off to show a commercial. What an awful way to end a show that's to showcase music.
