Very excited for this one. The last game has held up well with a group of 4 playing together and I'm hoping this is similar.

I'm excited for this. I hope some people leave some comments about their experiences and on whether or not they enjoy this type of feature. It's one of the most ambitious PixlBit features ever and we'd love to do it again if it's well-received.
Something tells me that the release of Skyward Sword provides some great motivation to recap the Zelda series...
I know I'm in the minority, but I've enjoyed Rare's output on the 360. That aside, this is pretty big news. I can't say I've been a big fan of really anything Twisted Pixel has done, but Microsoft made a good acquisition.
Haha, that's a great XKCD.
I like tough games myself, but Demon's Souls always felt cheap. And it was really slow moving. Get too ambitious and you're dead. Like Julian said, he found himself stepping into new areas and immediately rolling back, just to trigger the enemies.
To me, that feels like bad game design. At that point, you have to game the system to succeed. If he would've went in without a care, he'd have likely been killed. Perhaps the game just wore down my patience, but after about 10 hours of that overly cautious kind of playing, I was done. The whole thing felt like an exercise in frustration to me.
The problem is only expounded when you know you could easily pop the game out and have immediate fun with something else. Maybe other people like working for their fun more than I do in games, but titles like this don't do it for me.
We made a little mistake and made Part 2 live ahead of this one. Not to fret, just read up here to hear about Julian's first exploit in the world of Demon's Souls.
I agree, Jason. I'm really not all that interested in this myself. I barely watch TV as it is and I have a cable plan already, so what purpose does this serve? This becomes especially true when, like you said, you need yet another subscription to access the content.
Microsoft still has a ways to come before they can get a hold of the living room. For now, I think you'll just see gamers using the Xbox to watch the content, rather than others. In other words, this won't drastically broaden the Xbox market.
I'm pretty excited to see how this turns out. A wholly new Resident Evil game is definitely of interest, though I still don't know how I feel about it being on the 3DS. These are games I typically enjoy playing with Chessa, so it'll lose something in the transition to its new portable home.
I'd like to see this actually happen. I really enjoyed the first game, but passed on the second and third due to the drastic change from the gameplay style established in the first. After playing the Uncharted games, I'm guessing 2 and 3 hold more promise than I wanted to give them credit for back in the day due to the style change. I guess we'll see if this comes true.
In terms of other HD remasters, I'm not sure there's any I'd really like. Sony seems to be doing them best, hence my acceptance if this one happens. Everyone else has done a lackluster job, so I can't say I really care if any others happen.
I love Assassin's Creed, but I think Ubisoft is really running it into the ground. I see they plan to make changes, but it may be a little too late.
