Oh sweet, I'll make sure I accept! Yeah it's rare I pay full price for a game let alone a fighting game. This was a rare purchase for me!

Literally downloading Ragnarok Online 2 now, here's hoping it's good! I used to love MMO's but something happened where I could now see the mechanism that was dangling the carrot in front of me (if that makes sense) and I've not really been able to enjoy them the same since. I actually really enjoyed LOTR Online, although I only ever got to mid-twenties level wise and I thought DCUOnline was alright as well. Can't speak for the others.
Playing through MMO's is dark territory. There are some truly awful ones out there. I'll be surprised if you even have an ounce of sanity left after you're done! I'll be interested to see what you think of Defiance, critically panned but people seem to be having fun with it, weirdly. The TV show isn't great but it's not truly terrible either. The brand is an enigma!
Injustice has been the first fighting game I've bought since Soul Calibur iV and it's certainly been a steep learning curve. I've literally only won one fight online out of possibly 20!? ... :/
I'm not really sure you need that much money to make a documentary? Equipment and editing tools come at pretty reasonable prices these days and entering your film into festivals is free - if it's good enough! But that said I've never looked into making my own film and the various budgets needed, I avoided any producer based module at uni... Get injustice, that'll keep you at your 360. I'm loving it so far!
Suikoden II is a class game and one of my favourites. I've always said i'd like to own it but I doubt I'd ever drop that kind of money on it! Enjoy!
No offense was taken! I too get annoyed by those 'elitist' few!
“check my privelage”, I've never heard that before!? I have a degree and I can't get a job, volunteering my services instead. My degree certifictae is still in it's enevelope being used as a mouse mat.. so it's been handy for that...but yeah you're right in that regard! I'm not sure I agree that Japanese games have been vilified or degraded by the press but then I avoid a lot of press, like the plague. But my understanding is that there's always been a core substantial group that have been very pro Japanese gaming. But i get what you're saying, I even mention it briefly in my JRPG blog, where I talk about moving away from those games in the last few generations. So there is definitely a lot of substance to what you're saying :) I skimmed over the objectification part, there's only so much of that topic I can take in haha! Good blog Broken, always interesting to hear your take. Matt
Yeah the scarecrow segments are an absolute treat and a welcome diversion. I managed to get Asylum for £3 during the Xbox LIVE sale they did at Christmas. Maybe it will drop to a similar price soon!?
Injustice can't come soon enough!
Thanks for the advice pal, I tend to steer clear of inputting media into my blogs but it's nice to do so every now and again.
I kind of agree with you on Injustice. There are a lot of things that seem to be lazy about the game development. For example, no tag battles. Which seems odd to me. Graphically it looks ok and does a decent enough job though. I'm all for gameplay over graphics and it seems to have that in spades.
Hey Community is absolute class in places, it takes a while to get there (end of season 1 and season 2 being personal highlights) but it's full of pop culture goodness, which I'm all for.
