Door-to-door sales: My breaking point

I hope so. And the same way your carpet was very clean, I think I might recommend this service for our house's bugs, it actually was a good deal.

My shortest job other than this was actually also in the fast food industry, at Boston Market a few months. Everyone was very much literate and well-spoken, though. lol

Door-to-door sales: My breaking point

This was not cut throat in that sense, everyone was very much wanted everyone else to succeed even if they were having a bad week, it was a great group of guys, just not for me.

A lot of them were out-of-state and knew each other from religious schools like BYU, so there was a great support group there.

And boring is fine. lol The beauty of having this experience is that now so many things seem so easy by comparison.

Update 6/4/13: Long break, but I'm back now

And that's why you don't adopt early.

I tend to doubt somewhat this new console generation will be as apocalyptic as everyone thinks, but I'm not going to have to find that out for myself until I know it's not as apocalyptic as everyone thinks. Cause if it is as bad as the internet thinks, the early adopters will have found that out for me.

New TV. Back to Old Games.

Yeah, being on duty sucks, I remember that. Although I'm certain we're talking about two completely different jobs. lol

As for 3DTV, I am currently living at home, where the TV is standard def, so ... yeah, I have no idea.

"Summer RPGs"

I've always seen "grinding" as doing the same tedious but simple thing over and over again in order to level up, like I felt I did in Portrait of Ruin before facing Dracula, and I've honestly never interpreted a different connotation from anything I've read, including your definition, which I feel I just more or less repeated here.

But then, as you might have guessed from a Castlevania game being my reference point, I just flat out don't play JRPGs very often, if at all, but I do feel like I grasp the concept and what people mean when they use that word.

Sex, Lies and Video Game Ads

Speaking of false advertising, I think all I know of Sex, Lies, and Videotape was thinking it was something different in my adolescence cause I saw it was on Cinemax at a late time.

Then I realized it was a movie movie, and never watched it again.

I remember where all the items are and stuff too, but it just feels like busy work to me sometimes. And yet, there's just something about the series that's hypnotic, and it's probably in part thanks to all that backtracking.

You and TheLastNinja are really making me realize how much Metroid-induced cognitive dissonance I have today. lol

Metroid

Yeah, I never played the series until Prime and Fusion, then bought Zero Mission later, too. I also played the first Metroid on Prime's disc and Zero Mission's cartridge.Played Super Metroid a bit through emulation, and rented Echoes a few times.

And yet, while I obviously enjoy these, I can't say I have the love affair people do with them. There is something about backtracking that will always dull my senses a bit, but it is a great series, and until Prime (which frustrated the crap out of me at first, cause I was not used to having the "where to go" indicator be that infrequent in games, even having grown up with them since NES) I had never played much like it.

I wouldn't mind beating them all in order ... especially cause if I ever get past that bitch of a first game, it'll be smooth sailing from there. lol
