Definitely an adventure title. Where you face challenges in the wild. And you have to manage not only your own stats and health, but those of each dog also.

I'm moving in both directions,as far as consoles go. Can't wait for the PS4 to arrive. Yet I finally bought a Wii last month. I even want to get one of those retro trio consoles. The one with a slot for NES,SNES,and Genesis games. You can get the cartridges dirt cheap. So why not? I know how you feel about nostalgia. MGS makes me feel it every time. Another recent purchase of mine was The Twin Snakes for GameCube. I love that one.
People don't realize the strength and stamina required to compete in that event. I watched a documentary about it once. The dogs are just amazing. They are tremendous athletes, just like the mushers. I think a video game is in order!
I guess I'm fortunate to have Vintage Stock as an option. It's a chain of stores that sells mostly used stuff. Games,Cd's,comics, records, action figures, you name it. I find amazing stuff there pretty inexpensive, too. That game interests me because I love steampunk stories and artwork. Same way Bioshock pulled me in due to it's steampunk artistry. I think I will see if I can find it. Like you,I'm pretty picky about used game disks and cases. The case I can replace, the disk I can have resurfaced in their AzuraDisk machine. But I want the booklet and the cover art intact. I won't buy loose game disks.
I was not surprised at all. I remember your love of all things Metal Gear. I have to say I can't really disagree! I love all of it as well. I have all the Metal Gear Solid action figures. Except for Liquid Snake and Psycho Mantis. I recently picked up a digital graphic novel of MGS for the PSP. If you don't have it I think you should find it. Extremely cool. I also have books and graphic novels. It's all good. Maybe someday a movie? Come on now,Kojima San...it would be so epic!
You mentioned those Vita memory cards. It blows my mind how much they cost. 60 bucks or the largest one? Really Sony?
You can count me in! I love those type of games. 3DS needs a lot more like it.
Kinda like how politics are changing now, too. As the older generation dies off,the younger people change the country. Goes for people's attitudes about a lot of things. Gaming is now part of our culture. It's global and here to stay.
I go out of my way to play different games every evening. That way I make some progress little by little on each one. Still doesn't mean I finish them all,but I enjoy trying. They do tend to pile up on me. I'm working on Halo 4,Assassins Creed 3,Borderlands 2,and COD:Black Ops 2 all at the same time. Guess an overabundance of great games is a good thing, though.
Thanks for the info. I realized the first image I used was too big. It made my text go under the stuff to the right of the page. I'll really watch image size on future blogs.
