Wow, that actually looks a lot better than I thought it would.

I haven't played many Atari games but I can imagine how that would work. I assume your character was just a square lol
That's a good idea. If she has a smart phone, then there is basically no barrier to entry.
I know we've talked about libraries being such a good way to read older, well-known comics, but the new stuff? Yeah, I don't know any way of getting around the expense of that
Man, I love this game. Always makes me mad when people badmouth it. It's so good! Granted, I haven't revised it in quite some but I can't imagine it has aged as poorly as people say. I think this was the first game to actually explore the idea of the mushroom kingdom as a place people (toads) live. And I love the boss that's a rip off of the Power Rangers!
Oh, and the graphics are pre-rendered sprites, like in Donkey Kong Country. That's one of the things that people complain about most :/
We got a super good deal on the original Disney Infimity starter pack a couple years ago but haven't played it much. We got it for our kids ostensibly but they're still too young. My three-year-old hasn't quite grasped the concept that the buttons he's pushing are making the character on screen do things. But we'll keep trying lol. It'll click sooner or later.
As I was telling Snee, the Batman Chronicles series is out of print now, so you should get this book now while it's still available at a reasonable price. That was the deciding factor for me. Some of the other volumes have already become very expensive.
I know I've said it before, but check your local library for those must-read stories. In addition to the ones who've been able to watch (cool that they're doing that), I'd suggest The Long Halloween and Dark Victory, both by Jeff Loeb.
Mark Hamil has retired from doing the Joker, like, 3 or 4 times at this point. He just can't seem to stay away lol
The sad thing is that most of the volumes in the Batman Chronicles series are now out of print. Volume 1 and a few others are still available at normal prices on Amazon but the others all range from $30 to well over $100 and that's for used copies! So while I'm glad I could get volume 1, it's probably the only one I'll be able to read
I love Contra but I passed on Contra Advance when I found out it was just an unbalanced mishmash of Contra III and Hard Corps
I recently bought the Shovel Knight amiibo. I already own the game (which is fantastic, btw) but haven't used it yet. It unlocks a co-op mode that is exclusive to the Wii U. Really looking forward to playing through that with my wife.
