While I never played any of the Modern Warfare games, I'm inclined to agree with you. Whenever I mention to someone that I play video games, they usually respond with something along the lines of " oh, another Call of Duty player". Not many other series has had the same mainstream success here in the west and none to this scale
I used to collect Ultimate Spiderman when it was first released and it was really good. I bet at a minimum the artwork for Ultimate Carnage is fantastic. The Ultimate universe was pretty badass though I'm so out of the loop now it'd take quite a time sink to catch up again
While I do like the character of Harley Quinn, I can see her book being a little silly as you say. I know she was in a team with Catwoman and Poison Ivy at some stage which sounds interesting though I forget the name of it
I was always a big fan if the Silver Surfer though. Glad to hear his newer stuff is somewhat decent
I've traditionally always been Marvel too but the past few years I've just gotten bored with their characters. I've been reading a lot of image and vertigo stuff the past year but figure I'll see how the new DC stuff turned out
I'm not the biggest fan of Wonder Women but I guess I've never given the character a fair chance. I'll add her to the wish list and check out the rest to see if they look interesting to me
I've never read anything Batgirl focused so I'm looking forward to it. I always kinda assumed she was a nothing character but I'm glad to hear she's written well
Soul Eater looks interesting, I'll check it out. Have you read any of Bleach? I've read the first bumper volume but am wondering if it gets better. So far it's only OK and not really gripping me
I want to preorder Dragon Age also though I'm not sure it's enough for me to buy the PS4 yet. However with Batman Arkham Knight coming out the week after DA, it's getting pretty damn close. All I need is a Tekken announcement at E3 (either Tekken x Street Fighter or Tekken 7) and I'm in this Christmas
Yeah the tolls heading into Chicago are criminal. Two separate tolls once you enter Illinois I believe. Terribly lame.
Yeah they do, it's funny as it means I basicly only buy PC games two times a year. I still have a bunch of games I haven't even installed yet.
