Why Gods of Entertainment, WHY?

Posted on 11/13/2013 at 09:11 AM | Filed Under Blogs

All of those games, expcept Serious Sam, I have gotten at some point afterwards.  Skyrim was the only one that I had to have in November 2011.

You were totally right about Last Light.  That game is pretty frickin sweet.  It plays amazingly compare to 2033.  I suppose the bugs and glitches only added to the charm of 2033.

That game does a fairly good job of explaining most things early on thanks to the story mode.  I like how the FOEs are mini-bosses strewn about the maps.  It adds difficulty if you want it, otherwise you are able to avoid them if you want to.

3DS, As Always, and Back on PS3

Since Etrian Odyssey is not story heavy, I think that it should be easy to jump back in after an extended break.  So, I do not feel so bad that I have put it on the backburner.

I am contemplating, not too seriously, to buy another PS3 just to play Into the Nexus.  That is how much I love Ratchet and Clank.

A continued thought, and a plan.

Yeah, that was one really nice thing about this past generation.  In the past I have only had one console, but I have had both the 360 and PS3 this time and have been able to enjoy nearly all of the games that I wanted to on both systems.  The only "problem" looking at things that way was that there was so much time that I was able to work through the Wii's library, and the Gamecube, and the Xbox.(I had a PS2 last gen)

Mass Effect is an enjoyable experience that does give you plenty of fairly binary choices to make throughout the course of the adventure.  While it may be worth enjoying, I have no desire to return to that universe.  The Witcher 2 and New Vegas are where I will return if I want to make story changing decisions.

I did not realize that was part of the Criterion Collection.  I do not see how that film even fits the bill to be considered part of the Collection.  It isn't foreign, it is not bizarre, and unless I am mistaken, it is not even critically acclaimed...

I do not even know where to begin when describing Sweet Movie.  It is a foreign film from the 70s that was banned in a lot of countries.

Oh My God!

3DS, As Always, and Back on PS3

My 3DS is now feeling criminally underused.  I have not touched Etrian Odyssey in a couple of weeks.  Blackgate, Dragon's Crown, El Shaddai, and now Metro:  Last Light have all been consuming all of my game time.

I Bought a Vita!

Well, you are lucky that the Vita is pretty sweet.  I have been having some difficulty getting back into Etrian Odyssey because of it.

Whatever you do, avoid Sweet Movie like the plague.  It ruined the Criterion Collection for me for a while...

I picked up Last Light a while back, and hope to play it in the coming months.

As far as the PS4 is concerned...  I am regretting canceling my pre-order for the moment.  This is most likely caused by the pre-launch excitement that seems to be floating around the internets.  Once that dies down I will remember why I canceled it to begin with.
