Borderlands 2: Log 3-10-2014

I liked the Commando because I just set up my turret and watched it do my work for me. Ah yes, armchair gaming at its best.

I'm mulling over whether to get the DLC that gives you the Psycho and Mechromancer. There's no achievement for using them, but they might be fun anyway.

March 2014: God Dammit Games Industry

You're not supposed to be into all of those games. You are either a FPS fan and get Titanfall, or a South Park fan and get Stick of Truth, or a JRPG fan and get Atelier Iris, or a Nintendo fan and get Yoshi's Island, or a fighting game fan and get Yaiba and on and on. They think each game is hitting a different demographic and so not competing with each other. Thing is, if you're hardcore, like you and I are, you want most if not all of those games. Ah, it's hard being so into games. There's just not enough time or money for it all is there.

Afrika is a big disappointment

Darn, that's too bad. I wanted this game to be good too.

I'm thinking I should take a standard FPS and substitute all the weapons for cameras and all the enemies for animals and make a fun photography game. It'd be fast and dangerous. Like maybe Far Cry 3 with cameras.

I've been told a true cheesesteak is one with sliced steak not chopped steak like the ones I always eat. Thing is, the only place that makes a sliced steak cheesesteak are the places in Philly. Out here in the burbs, only 15 minutes outside the city, it's always chopped steak. I've been to Gino's Steaks for the "real deal" and I still prefer the chopped. To heck with these purists.

There are so many types of equipment in this game. It runs counter to the way I think about a shooter. I want to go fast, but then there's so much detail in the equipment, I need to think about every equipment choice. It makes me a little crazy when I'm in a fight and I see a item on the ground. I want to run and pick it up, but then I also want to study it and see if its stats are what I want. I'm pulled two ways in this game.

Deception IV coming to Vita & PS3 March 25

I played Trapt on PS2 not too long ago. I didn't have the patience for it, but it's a great idea. Some of the art in Deception IV reminds me of the macabre style of Dark Souls like this train trap.

That Mario frowny face was totally me at one point while playing Borderlands 2.

I'm trying to eat healthy but gaming days always bring out the guilty pleasures.

Every locale has their specialty. Mine's cheesesteaks, what's yours?

Randy's the head of Gearbox, makers of Borderlands and the beer was pretty good. I hadn't had a beer for like a month or more and it really went down smooth. I liked it.

Being positive or negative; it's just too intellectual a way of thinking. Forget thoughts, I just go right to feelings, good or bad ones. It doesn't matter. Feeling is all. Feeling is life.
