I'd say give Fallout 3 a try before Skyrim because it's the much better game in my opinion. I'm enjoying my Wii U, just don't have enough to play on it. Have a hard time recommending one to others, especially if they don't have a PS3/360.
I'm excited for 5 too now that I'm getting caught up with the series. Hope I can finish them by then.

Oh, what the fuck people? Really? I'm stoked for The Last of Us and normally would say you're taking this reaction too far, but when they're saying a guy should get fired for calling a game most people are giving scores that signify amazing and he calls it really good, yeah, go fuck yourself.

I'll rent this. I haven't even liked the good 3D Sonics this gen, last Sonic I really enjoyed was Rush. I'll still give it a try in hope that it brings some of that Genesis magic, but not holding my breath for a return to form. They gave me CD at least and that's all I wanted.
Yeah, with the two types of 3D platformers. Very little cartoony ones and next to nothing from realistic ones.
I said the opposite: we're getting nothing but 2D platformers.
