Great article, Blake. So good I shared it on Facebook, I have a lot of musician friends on there.

The game that immediately sprang to mind for me was Journey. That's the only OST I've ever actually bought. That game would not have had nearly the impact on me without that music. I also like games like Dragon Quest VIII with the full-orchestral soundtrack, it heightens the experience for me in ways that computer-generated music doesn't.

He got what he deserved. That reminds me that it's time for my annual Christmas viewing of Die Hard and Die Hard 2.

Some of those vehicles were worse than others. The other miserable bit was towing mines and getting them to hit what you wanted them to.

I love them because they're mindless fun and you get to smash stuff. There's frequently a hidden level where the point seems to be to destroy everything. That makes me happy.

Yeah, switching can be a pain, but that's what the right shouldert button is for :) And yes, some area are not obvious or even intuitive. I do resort to walkthroughs frequently, and that's what I should have done the first time I played LEGO Batman when I got frustrated at the beginning of the second level and quit back when I first bought the game years ago.

I love all those little details. Too bad they don't put the same effort into quality assurance on the technical end of things.
