I know it's to save space, but they never offer them to me. They just throw everything away. My Gamestop warned me they were about to throw out all their DS cases the other day. Am I supposed to get all crazy and buy up everything? No way! I buy when I'm ready. Why couldn't they just warehouse them somewhere and make them available online? Costs I suppose. I guess there's no way around it. I just got to get on things when they come out and not wait so long, or get a secure post office box and go online.

I don't regret any day-one purchase except maybe Duke Nukem Forever. I'm very careful now to choose only the games I really must play right away for day-one purchases.

The characters' faces in the game are hideous, but the environments are sweet. I'm a sucker for good environment art. It's the hiker in me.

Yea, it sounds like some thing to check out... although... my memory is being sparked a little bit. Maybe I did play it. 

My friend and I had these Pentium 75 (yes 75 Mhz! We're into GHz these days) computers that we hooked up to play Doom over a network. It was hot fun.

It's only Texas Hold 'em in WSOP. I didn't think I'd get too far, but I finally did win a ranked Tournament after only a hanfull of tries. I did have trouble with the AI pros that you have to beat in single player to unlock more boosts, clothes and whatnot though. I kinda gave up trying to beat them. My friend is still playing it and telling me about each new achievement he's unlocked. He's beaten all the pros and winning hands of 300K chips. Insane! 

I guess like movies and books, canon is really just what's in the movies. The books do their own thing.

     The games have been pretty straightforward unless you look at all those terminals, then you get confused. I've read all the books and comics and I'm still hazy on what all those terminals are trying to say. I'm sure the TV series will expand into new territory in a much more direct way for the next game.

It's usually a full year before the Game of the Year edition for any game comes out. I guess it's just about how long you want to wait. 

I got Bioshock Infinite and played it during the summer. Then I got the Season Pass 'cause I wanted all the DLC, but the first DLC was just a Firefight type mode centered on the last battle. I didn't bother playing it. I want more story driven matterial. That's what I'm into Bioshock for. Still, I'm not miffed at getting the seaons pass. $20 is well worth it for more Bioshock. It's quality stuff.

When I get back to Batman Arkham Asylum, I'm going to cheat so much to get through those stealth segments. I don't like replaying levels over and over.

I'll say, God of War III was under $10.

I love the painting aspect. I keep seeing that paint brush Wii Remote around. I've always wanted it. 

It's a real pain that Gamestop has so little reverance for games that they just chuck the cases. It's that kind of attitude that will help in their own demise when everything becomes digital downloads.
