My brother-in-law bought this for me a few years ago and I never got around to playing it. I should though. It looks fun.
I bought it day one and played maybe ten hours or so before the fighting system really frustrated me. I loved the story, locations, graphics, and dialog but, just like Risen 1, I had some real trouble getting a handle on effective fighting. I ended up poor and beaten up again. At some point I'd like to go back to the game and read up on exactly how the fight system is supposed to work because I really liked everything else about the game.
It's a great game for the Wii. There are so few games like it for that system.
That's what I'm thinking. It's gonna look great!
Risen left me desperately poor, beaten up, and hopeless in Harbour Town. The police even took my weapon away!
I started Bioshock 2 but didn't finish it. It seemed a well made game. I was happy to have something more to play in that world. At some point I'll have to finish it.
You could do this with Google Glass or some other augmented reality headset. That seems to me to be the easiest way to do it.
Everyone's trying hard to get beyond that 2D TV screen. I'm not sure I want to get that immersed in a fantasy world, but maybe. I do watch 3D movies whenever they are available and I just saw Oblivion on IMAX and loved all that extra screen space.
Ooo. FFX would be nice.
I had high hopes for Voyager: female captain, interesting crew, lost in space theme. I watched the pilot but every time I tried to go deeper into the show, it bored me. When they added Jeri Ryan, I just rolled my eyes and really gave up trying to watch it.
Also, what's the deal with every character having a really prominent, shiny forehead with super high bangs. Does giant foreheads equal super intelligence? I now refer to Voyager as "that show with the foreheads". It just makes me giggle every time I see an episode.
