My post just up and disappeared. It wasn't anything special, so no big loss. Just me lamenting having bought Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge on the WiiU for lack of much else to play. I didn't really dig Metal Gear Rising or God of War: Ascension either, the latter of which was kinda surpising to me since I do enjoy playing the God of War games between shearings. :P
Anyway, good stuff as always, man.
Wow. It IS looking pretty slick. I'm still not entirely sold on the more realistic designs, but the gameplay (what's important) looks pretty awesome!
Weird about the PS3 delay. I wonder if Microsoft's "Summer of Arcade" promotion has anything to do with it.

I watched the first few episodes, and it just didn't click. Now, I'm not gonna be one of those assholes who questions why other people like something that I don't, it just wasn't for me is all.
That said, I have a feeling that I'll revist it once it's wrapped and see how I feel about it then.

I kind of feel like the faux-outrage about Danielle's review has less to do with the fact that she raised the issue of Dragon Crown's portrayal of women, and has a lot more to do with how it appears (if you're stupid) to have had an impact on her review score.
See, some gamers just haven't quite figured out what an opinion is, and can't handle the possibility that a game that they decided was going to be awesome based on a few dozen screenshots and a couple of gameplay trailers might not be after all. So they'll cherry-pick shit from a review and harp on it in a sad attempt to discredit the entire review, because fuck intellectual honesty, apparently.
So yeah, I just feel like people are harping on the matter of sexism in videogames because they stupidly believe that Danielle started the review at 10 points, and similarly to how Dick Solomon removed a dollar from his waitress' tip whenever she did something he didn't like in that one episode of "Third Rock from the Sun", removed a point from the game every time she encountered a character in the game whose proportions put her off.
Mighty Quest For Epic Loot - Looks fairly kick-ass, and I dig the hell out of the name. I may have to give it a look.

I watched the first episode last week. I wasn't terribly impressed, to be honest. If you were to ask me what about it left me cold, I couldn't really quantify it in any meaningful way. I just didn't really dig it all that much. :|
That said, I haven't written it of completely, though I may wait until the series is up in its entirety before watching the rest.
Which is probably why I don't like it. I mean, if brains were dynamite, I wouldn't have enough to blow my nose! :D
