This.
Also, if you just want more Streets of Rage style music, the SNES game Space Megaforce (released as Super Aleste overseas) really sounds like it could be some super secret Koshiro work. Sadly, it's not, but still, give it a listen sometime.

That sounds pretty refreshing.
I mean look, no matter who you are or what you do there's going to be someone, somewhere who will find something disagreeable about the way you live your life. That's just how it is. I mean, we're not all the same, so we're gonna be different. It seems like whoever wrote this game out is embracing the idea that just because we're different doesn't mean we need to treat each other differently.
Taking that idea to your overall discussion, guess who makes games: People. Different people with different ideas, backgrounds, lifestyles and concepts. This naturally bleeds into their art. I never expect to find women, men, nerds, soldiers, homosexuals, or any other "thing" represented perfectly in games because we're talking about people here, not things and we're talking about people making the representations of these things.
Furthermore, and I don't know about anybody else, but in my opinion, people don't generally do perfect well.
So yeah, that's that. Be accepting of people. Be accepting of others. Be accepting of their successes and their mistakes. I mean man, was I the only person brought up being told "If you can't say something nice don't say anything?" I know sometimes you have to speak out against evil but you know what, not everything wrong is evil. Sometimes it's just people being people and doing what they do, so yeah.
Sorry about the rant, but that's my take.
That's one punny title you got there.
Yeah, my family's restaurant almost had a Dig Dug or Mr. Do! cabinet in it, so I played games pretty similar to this, but not this one. It looks pretty neat.
I managed to score a copy of this and Etrian Odyssey IV. I've been playing nothing but my 3DS for a month now.
OK, that was pretty good. Nobody does melody like Uematsu, and nobody does epic, building, dramatic music like Soule. That was a pretty good combination.
The game starts off pretty strong, and it's really not that long. You can beat it in around 15 hours if you hustle. It's got a few flaws though like jgusw was saying. It's not something I felt was a waste of time to play, but not something I'd go out of my way to experience either. If you do decide to play it again though, try playing along with the podcasts. I'd love to get some feedback.
Don't worry, you played the best of it. We ended up voicing a lot of similar stuff in the podcast.
I like women, and that's about all I want to talk about when it comes to this.
I'll just leave this right here...

All of that was very real sorry to say. Keep in mind that was a PS1 game, so we're talking about something that came out a while ago. That was also a very real quote. IGN may not be great, but it sure has come a long way from stuff like that hasn't it? I will give them this though, that ad was a perfect representation of the games content in every way.
