Funny, at some point I mentioned a Persona game with lovable "detention time outcasts" akin to "The Breakfast Club" would be the perfect game for me.
As great as Persona 4 was, I felt like the main protagonist Yu was too perfect and would have related to him more if he wasn't great at everything. (As well as him having EVERY FEMALE CHARACTER wanting to ride his joy-stick.)
I know that's just "Japan being Japan" when it comes to its' MCs but I can "dream" can't I? Maybe in Persona 5 the main protagonist will be more like Yosuke or Kanji.
Oh, you people & your fart jokes! I'm so offended...but I cannot stop laughing!
Based on the character roster I DO want! Even if the story ain't special I'd love to rock it with the God Eater Burst characters. The spritework in these kinds of games is also superb!
Totally, man. It's okay to be offended. I mean we're all offended by something. But to come into something just to conform it to one particular fringe group's core values? I really don't like that and would go so far to say it's unconstitutional.
I really like variety. I don't mind feminists creating feminist comic books or making femminist games. What I have a problem with is them trying to conform the whole geek/gamer culture to their own point of view. "Borging" is lame!
C'mon Cary, you know why she's cool. She can creat a blade of psychic energy from thin air, stab it into someone's skull, and extract their memories. That's a pretty handy super power! It's just kind of sad most games with Psylocke in them only focus on her powers doing "physical damage". It limits her full scope.
Still need to try X-com. I own Tales Of Vesperia and Magna Carta II though. They're definitely great rpgs and it's to my shame I have not finished them.
It was a good arc. It's a pity I'm not quite as connected to X-men anymore as I used to be.
If you like The Invisibles you might want to check out the Wild Cards books, Matt! It's what George R.R. Martin worked on before A Song Of Ice And Fire. It's pretty much a super hero universe through an adult lens. The books have a few fucked up moments too but I still highly recommend them!
Can I get in on the hate too? (satire troll face)
