I'm so sorry about the loss of your cat.  For the longest time I never understood why people got so upset over "animals".  Now, I have a cat of my own.  She's 10 years old now and I can't imagine life without her.  So I get it now.  AND we recently got a Great Dane.   She is absolutely awesome and has a great personality but I found out because they are bred so big that means they have short life spans.  8-10 years.  Anyway my condolenses.

I currently rent from gamefly...yeah they are too high.  Shipping isn't terrible for me.  I live in East TN and my games ship from Tampa.  I get them in 3 days (one way).  I never thought about Blockbusters online service.  I will have to check it out.  As long as the selection is good, not getting new releases is not a problem.  I don't get them with gamefly anyway.

I loved Super Metroid.  I missed out on the series the first time around.  I played Other M and liked it for the most part.  The story didn't bother me so much since I wasn't familiar with the series.  I went back and played the original on GBA then got Super Metroid on Wii Virtual Console which of course is my fav.  Great post.

Great start.  Please keep us updated.  I really want to play this but can't afford any more new games.  I will have to wait to rent it.  I can't wait to see what open world elements open up as well as how good I hope the puzzles will be.

Sounds very interesting.  I missed out on a lot of great rpgs on the ps2.  I had never even heard of this one.  Humor is always good in those long rpgs.

Over the past several days I've started thinking like you in tackling mount backlog.  I've started several games recently and plan to jump between them until I stop having fun with it.  Then i will add another one to the rotation.  I used to play a game until I got burnt out on it, but decided it's okay to switch it up and play several at the same time to keep the experiences fresh.

I'm glad I played the Vita version first.  I got the console version a few days ago on sale for 14.00 and am looking forward to playing it soon. 

What network and time does the apprentice come on?  With Brett and Dee Snider I've got to check this out.  Didn't Brett win when he was on it last time?

I recently started Silent Hill Downpour,  Castlevaina for 360, and Civilization IV.  I was enjoying Downpour despite the screen lag then it froze up on me.  I've never played Civilization before and so far am really digging it.  It reminds me of an old pc game I used to play called Lemonade where you managed a stand and tried to make money.
