There were a handful of celebrity games that were not really good during this time. MJ, and the other MJ, Michael Jordan had that side scroller where you threw basketballs at bad guys. I didn't play much of this one because I figured what could the king of pop do other than make noises and dance.
Ha! I decided to play some TG16 last weekend out of the blue and the first blog I read here is about TG16. Growing up my friend had one and I tried Bonk but was never into it. I did like the portable TG16 because it played the actual games in a handheld that was as big as a brick.
I like the concept of the mini consoles because it gives folks like myself the chance to own the console with a nice library without having to hunt down the originals.
Wasn't there a Neo Geo mini as well?

Yeah once you move up in rep you can buy better parts, and usually your choice in tires fixes this issue. I had the same issue and I thought the game was really slippery but once you start buying the tires/cars and start mixing/matching parts while using the graph that tells you how your car handles it gets a lot better. Crazy thing is once you get use to tight racing you start to want to drift and then you're back to the crazy slippery handling.
Ha I have the same problem with COD Ghosts. I bought one of those digital versions where you buy the 360 version you should have the next gen version waiting for you. Since I don't have an X1 I have no idea if I do.
It's a shame really that Burnout didn't have a game for the PS4/X1 gen other than Paradise. I really enjoyed the Burnout games on the PSP and that type of game was really fun. Paradise and Ridge Racer Unbounded tried to be something different in a racer/car crashing which was fun but wasn't the same. Paradise did a better job at this.
Funny you mention Paradise because before I jumped into Heat I actually restarted Paradise on Steam.
I don't play a lot of soccer games but I've always liked the PES series. PES was the first game I put on my Nook when I did the mod to turn it into a full Android tablet. FIFA seems to get all the love but PES is a solid game.
I always liked Nintendo/Mario sports based games. They were solid spots games and they were a lot of fun with all the crazy things the characters could do. Can you imagine a Mario Wrestling game. The steel cage would be like the perimeter of the soccer field.
Good luck on the chase for the platinum trophy! I tend to jump around on games and I missed this one. At some point I would like to give it a go especially since I enjoyed the PS4 R&C game.
I like that trailer for Gears. The updates look like they could be a lot of fun especially if you enjoy the single player game. As for your achievements hopefully you get them when you log back in. It sucks if you unlock/earn something in game and you have to do it again when the game doesn't acknowledge it.
I liked Galaxy Quest. It was a fun movie that made fun of Sci Fi while being a good Sci Fi flick. Funny about ICP, it just never clicked with me.
