Game Log – Cinco de Mayo

Sorry to hear Borderlands is bumming you out. The gear & skill management is what really makes this game so much fun to me. Its worth the effort to explore each area and go back to chests you know about, improves your chances of finding good gear. If your going to piggy back your friend, get him to go into ultimate Vault hunter mode, you will gain some levels quick and catch up with him.

The Pshyco is kind of an advanced charatcer that forces you to play very agressive and risky. He doesn't realy get impressive till lv 30. I would suggest giving the Mechromancer or the Commando a try. They are probably the most balanced and straight forward with a lot of flexabilty.

Well, I have tried, but I always end up coming back.lol  I'm still not close to completing all the challenges or maxing out all my characters, so its still in rotation. Trust me there are folks who have me beat by long shot with time spent in this game.

The Mechromancer is still my favorite of all the classes. She has a lot of flexability in the kinds of build you can run her with.

There is a handy glitch that only works in the PS3 version that lets you get unlimited gold keys for the special chest located in Sanctuary. Totally worth opting for vs 360. Also the Game of the Year Eddition is a steal and I have feeling it may get cheaper come fall with the new Pre-Sequel thing coming out. I went with the pre-order and payed way too much before all is said and done.

I really like Aloe Blacc's album Good Things. I have heard most of this new album on Amazon and I'm just not feeling it. Sorry if I sound like a hipster music snob, but I like his older stuff before he went mainstream. He also did some realy good hip hop before he started singing on the Stones Throw label.

I don't have cable so I won't be seeing that Star Wars toon for a while but if its as good as Clone Wars I'm down for it.

Yeah some of the reveiws I read were overly harsh. Its not a bad game at all, Highmoon did a good job with it. Just don't expect anything revolutionary. Its pretty by the numbers, well other than the crazy Deadpool antics.

For as long as people have been telling stories, writing songs, or painting pictures, they have all at one point or another used violence as means of setting up a scenerio and or bringing the story to a finish. Games are competitive and work best when using the same elements that also make stories work. Its all about conflict and drama. Its been around a long time. And I find it funny that the two groups responsible for more misery and death in the history of the world want to try and make scapegoats of things like violence in games and such. Those two groups being polititions and religious zealots. But I do believe in self censorship and that violenced can easily be turned into a shameless gimick as a means of amusement. I also think that violent games can be cathartic like hitting a punching bag making a person less likely to punch another person. It really comes down to balence and personal preference in my opinion.

Sorry to about the job. I have been there too. Drove all the way from the east side of Houston to the west side of Houston, paid beltway tolls and wasted at least 3 hours of my time for what turned out to be some kind of pyramid scheme.

I have seen the Mario video before but the Zelda is by far my fave of the three. Surely raised my spirits.Laughing
