The thing that many people seem to ignore is that women play FPS.  Of course there aren't as many women playing the genre as men, but the women are there and it's not like there are only 6 of them.  I know women that play FPS and other "guy" games.  Just last week, I found out one of my female co-workers love playing Left 4 Dead.  I only felt sexist because I assumed she didn't.  Who am I or anyone to say what women will play or won't play?  That's where the sexism is.  To say women don't like current games is like saying, We have women in a nice little box and all figured out.  Isn't that what feminism is really about?  

I thought those posts were funny. 

But seriously, think about it.  Should the gaming industry try to develop games for every fucking person in the world?  Who does that?  What is a "guy" game?  Women are free to play any damn game they want.  Many women play the hell out of "guy" games.  I wish some of these "feminists" and "white knights" would stop the bitching.  If they don't like it, they shouldn't buy it.  Simple.  Or, how about doing something constructive and make their own damn game instend of trying to force the industry to cater to them?  To even ask the gaming industry to make more "girl" games is sexist.  Who is anyone to decide what women want to play or not?   I know plenty of women who play current games just fine and are excited for the new games coming out.  The sad thing is, even if there were more "girl" games, the number of girls & women joining the community would not change.  To assume it would is bullshit.  Where are the facts?  What game can be made that no women couldn't resist?  

I've been going the other way.  I got a PS after it was out a year, I bought a PS2 about 2 years after it released, and I finally got a PS3 last year. 

I'm no the fence about preordering a PS4.  I'm usually don't get consoles on day one.  But, since I'm only planning to get a PS4, I just may preorder it. 

Exactly.  My wife kept asking me, "Whom are her videos for?"  I really couldn't answer that question.  It's not for gamers.  Any real gamer that's been around for a decade can see through her bullshit.  No matter what game it was, she pulled the "sexism" card.  It annoyed the hell out of us.  I laughed to myself when she pulled the card out on Gears of War.  She called out Dom for wanting to save his wife and upon finding her like a freaking zombie, had to put her out of her misery.  She called it the "damsel in the fridge" or something like that.  She fail to mention or understand that the series is mainly about Marcus who is looking for his father and the 3rd game had some female characters kicking major ass.  Damned if you don't, damned if you do. 

I got that email too.  Those clowns just don't know, I'm not buying their damn XB1. 

I got my PS3 last year and I still think I paid too much for it.

Just last night I watched the 2nd eps. of that feminist trope in gaming crap with my wife.  Even my wife was annoyed and wanted to punch that fem chick in the mouth and my wife is not what you would call a "hardcore" gamer.  

KotOR 3 Ultimate Collector's Edition..... I would want it and I would cry if it was only on the XB1.  

I can't think of a single game that would get me to buy that thing.  Even if they made a sequel to my favorite series, they'd probably mess it up.
