since the ps4 seemed far more focused on games, I am definitely leaning in that direction.

See, the console will most likely sell though, just like the Wii sold.
It looks way to much like a HTPC. Why wouldn't i just build my own?
I do not like what the "One" stands for. I already own a set top box, and a blu-ray player. What makes them think that I really want just "One" thing hooked up to my t.v.
Also, they claim that there are 15 exclusives... why didn't they show more than two of them?
I am leaning towards a ps4 more and more.
In the end, I am probably just going to stick with my "classic" zelda games. Those are the ones that I have fond memories of playing. I just want simplicity when it comes to Zelda. I love the oracle games, and Link's Awakening, and A Link to the Past. Who really needs all of the gimmicks? Not I.
I am excited to hear what is coming for the wii u. I know that there has to be the staples, 3D Mario, Zelda, Mario Kart, hopefully Metroid, and whatever Retro Studios is working on has to be coming at some point. I just would like to know when these games are coming.
in the end, all I really want to know about is the games. If tomorrow's focus is going to be the hardware, and non-exclusives, then I will be a little disappointed. The hardware is not going to be a surprise, everything else could be.
I have finished 5 games since I first logged onto Backloggery, and am working my way through the 6th, crysis 2. I like the focus that the sight has given me.
One of my favourites. I have been itching to play Super Metroid again since I started reading the anatomy of metroid.
As far as the controls, when I went back to play Super Metroid after I had beaten Fusion and Zero Mission a dozen or so times I did have problems. The nice thing is that you can customize the entire game pad. So, I moved the weapon select to a shoulder, and may have put the booster button on the other shoulder. I rarely if ever used the look up/down buttons so moving those to a different place didnt bother me.
I am slowly getting to a point that I like to shut off any sort of hint, or tutorial system. Why do sequels have longer tutorials built into the game than the original? I think that having hints pop up when a new mechanic is introduced is far more effective than a tutorial. Tutorials can be nice, but sometimes they can be too much information. Information that you do not need until the middle of the game is somewhat useless to know before you start playing. Also, some stuff you may never use because of you play style.
