I've watched some of Orphan Black. It's been great so far but I'm a tad confused. (I missed a few of the beginning episodes) Da'vinci's demons and Legit seem right up my alley. Thamks for the suggestions,Blake!
We're on the same page 100%, Eternal. There are just so many anti-consumer policies with the Xbone I'd literally feel guilty supporting microsoft at this point. I don't want to enable their jerk-baggery. They have to realize they've screwed up and only we can show them just how much.
So,what's up with the KI debacle? I've read from some places two people were playing it and a rape joke was made. Is that legit? Granted, that wouldn't be the end of the world but it's still a tad tasteless.
Yup, I'll be going PS4 when I can as well. Every time PR reps speak for the Xbone they come off as a deluded elitists disconnected from the rational world.
Soul Nomad was good. Damn game totally kicked my ass though. Gig is a smooth playa either way. I loved his humorous over the top "bad-guy dialogue". lol.
I'm with you,Knight. I do love my 360 so I do hope they continue to support it at least a few more years.
And you're right. That $499.00 price point and $10.00 a month for live doesn't exactly sweeten the pot.
Ha ha ha! The Last Airbender cartoon is a tough act to follow,Joe. In my opinion they should have made a cartoon movie with the same animators & writers but that's just me. (And yeah, the cartoon wrapped up everything nicely so maybe my idea is a bit pointless)
Personally I didn't think the movie was terrible. It just had the misfortune of trying to embody one of the best animated shows of all time. Of course our expectations were going to be sky high going in. (Those of us who saw the series first I mean)
At least in your case you saved the best for last.
If you liked the first SH movie you'll enjoy this one. (Though maybe not quite as much) I added the later in parenthesis because some characters who should be pivotal to the plot barely get fleshed out at all. Claudia & Douglas totally needed more screen time.
Beyond that it's a great videogame film though. It edges out above most of the recent Resident Evil movies for me. (Though yes, I love Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez!)
I like both action based and turn based so I don't have anything to lose either way.
