Normally I don't try to judge gamers based on their consoles of choice,James. However I cannot fathom anyone of sound mind and sound moral compass jumping on the Xbone. Doing so would just encourage infringing upon our consumer rights and our privacy.

If they did away with the 24 hour check and did a firmware update that made the Xbox one able to play games even offline it would put them in good graces with more gamers. Going "all digital" is not even a bad move. It's the way microsoft is doing it with all the little restrictions that's killing them. Steam is still doing it better. Nuff said.
Of course I'm still not addressing the other problems. Aka, the Kinect possibly being tied to Prism,limited sharing restrictions,used game fees,cds being glorified install discs, and the fact indie game developers are treated like shit when trying to premote their projects through Xbox live.(And they have to pay MS hefty fees just to update and patch their own property. Wtf is the logic behind that?)
I didn't think they could do it but MS dicked over everyone in one bundled package. Enlisted in the military? Fuck you. Rural farmer or rancher? Fuck you. Have an imperfect internet connection? Fuck you. Game collector? Fuck you. Indie game developer? Fuck you. Rich privileged buyer? Well, fuck you too. You're Xbone will still become a useless paperweight once it's no longer supported.
If "anyone" can be an Xbone apologist at this point something is seriously wrong with them upstairs OR they're being bribed.
I get tired of "the future of gaming will be this" remarks. C'mon, we still have vinyl records! I think "digital downloads" will always be an option and I'm fine with that. However, I don't think it will be the sole way of buying & playing games. It's not like Steam has murdered cds and blurays.

I like the option to own & play older games too,mate! I can't even fathom microsoft's business tactics. They really were doing great with the 360. Why fuck up a good thing? Why create a console that becomes obsolete & useless when it's no longer supported? It blows my mind.
Even if MS changes a lot of its' policies in the near future I'll still feel as if they tried bending me over against my will. If they believe I'll be quick to trust them they got another thing coming!

At least the TombRaider movies were not total failures. You're right, they're not up there with Indiana Jones. But they were not "utter crap" either. Angelina was perfect for the role of old school Lara Croft. I don't think many people will argue with that. lol.
SF really is best when it stays within its' manga,game, and anime boundaries. If you try to take it into "real life" it's difficult to spin it in a way that's not utterly ridiculous. The best way to approach it would be to design it like a really old Kung Fu movie as that's where its' inspirations lie. Also, focus it around Ryu as the main character. Guile shouldn't be hogging the limelight!
Witcher 3,the new Final Fantasy,KH3, and Bayonetta 2 all have me creaming my pants! Er, I mean they have me looking forward to gaming's future! Now if you excuse me, I have to "tidy up".
